SHD olive cultivation is a revolutionary agronomic model that our partner company, Agromillora, has been using for more than 30 years to address the challenges associated with traditional crops. SHD olives are much more beneficial and effective for our clients.
Selecting the right variety is crucial for achieving the goals of an SHD orchard. We offer six different varieties of olives, compatible with various agro-climates and care conditions, all of which meet the strict requirements of this sector.

The most common planting scheme for SHD olives is 3-4 meters between rows and 1-1.5 meters between seedlings, allowing for over 1,600 seedlings per hectare. However, it is essential to select varieties based on local agroclimatic analysis.
SHD olive trees reach productivity quickly. By the third year after planting, the yield is 3-4 tons per hectare, reaching up to 16 tons per hectare during full production.
Mechanized harvesting ensures that ripe fruit is harvested with minimal damage. The process is fast, allowing for quick processing, which is vital for producing cold-pressed olive oil. The high quality of the harvest is also maintained because the fruit is picked directly from the tree without falling to the ground, another advantage of the mechanized process.
